摘要

Abstract

The micro-arc oxidation coatings were prepared on 5 A06 aluminum alloy by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) in Na2 Si O3-Na F-KOH-Na2 CO3 electrolyte with a certain amount of conductive carbon black with different MAO time to improve the friction and wear properties of the ceramic coatings.The phase composition, microstructure and microhardness were analyzed by XRD, SEM and microhardness tester.The friction and wear properties of micro-arc oxidation coatings treated with different MAO time were investigated using a friction and wear tester.The results show that a certain amount of carbon is contained in ceramic coating prepared by micro arc oxidation with adding a small amount of conductive carbon black in micro arc oxidation electrolytic.With the time increasing, the carbon content in the ceramic layer increase, the friction coefficient decreases and the and wear resistance improve effectively under the dry friction and wear conditions.
