Reliability and Validity Evaluation on Campus Violence Questionnaire for Middle and Primary Schools in Pudong New Area Shiwan Community

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the reliability and validity of self-designed campus violence questionnaire for middle and primary schools in Pudong New Area Shiwan Community. Methods: 300 students were randomly selected from 3 state-run middle and primary schools in Pudong new area Zhuqiao town Shiwan community, and 150 cases among them were stratified randomly selected for retest, then calculated the internal consistency, retest reliability and structural validity of the questionnaire. Results: The Cronbach's α coefficinent of each part and the whole questionnaire was 0.7532～0.8110, the Spearman correlation coefficents of 20 indicators were all greater than 0.7, P values were all less than 0.01; through factor analysis on 20 indicators, 3 common factors which could totally explain 62.21％ of total variance were produced, the factor loading of those 20 indicators was 0.456～0.835, which were all greater than the basic requirement of 0.40. Conclusion: The reliability and validity of the questionnaire are good, which reflects that the questionnaire has a good reliability and validity to be used in the investigation of campus violence in middle and primary schools.关键词
