摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the predictive value of prognostic nutritional index (PNI) in surgical site infections (SSI) for gastric cancer patients undergoing resections.Method:A retrospective review the clinical data of 223 gastric cancer patients who underwent surgery from June 2014 to June 2017 in our hospital general surgery were performed.Patients were divided into SSI group and NSSI group according to whether postoperative SSI was complicated.Univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted to identify risk factors for SSI, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) cure was used to quantify the effectiveness of PNI in predicting SSI. Result:Univariate analysis showed that age≥65 years, operative time≥3 h,preoperative TLC<1.67×109/L, hypoproteinemia and PNI <46.8 were all risk factors for SSI(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that preoperative PNI<46.8 had significant diagnostic efficacy in predicting postoperative SSI(AUC=0.835,69.23% sensitivity,90.22% specificity).Furthermore,a multivariate analysis indicated that only PNI<46.8[OR=2.21, 95%CI(1.192,4.246),P=0.031] was an independent risk factor for postoperative SSI complicated with gastric cancer. Conclusion:Preoperative PNI is a simple and effective clinical indicator to predict SSI in gastric cancer patients after resection, which has a high clinical value.关键词
