Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of noninvasive bi-level positive airway pressure(BiPAP) on pulmonary function and arterial blood gas of patients with severe bronchial asthma.Method:A total of 84 patients with severe bronchial asthma in our hospital were selected.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group(n=40) and observation group(n=44).The control group received routine symptomatic supportive treatment,while observation group received BiPAP treatment on the basis of control group.The therapeutic effect,arterial blood gas index(pH,PaCO2,PaO2,SaO2) and pulmonary function index(FEV1, FEV1/FVC,PEF) before and after treatment between two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was 95.45%,which was significantly higher than 75.00% of control group,the difference was statistically significant( χ2=4.761,P=0.027).After treatment,the pH,PaO2and SaO2of two groups were higher than those of before treatment,and PaCO2was lower than those of before treatment,the pH,PaO2and SaO2 of observation group were higher than those of control group,and PaCO2was lower than that of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the FEV1,FEV1/FVC and PEF in two groups were all higher than those of before treatment,and observation group were higher than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:BiPAP can significantly improve the pulmonary function and arterial blood gas indexes of severe bronchial asthma patients,and significantly improve the clinical efficacy.关键词
