Behavior problems in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes in Zhengzhou

Abstract
Objective To explore the influencing factors of behavior problems in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. Methods According to the content of Achenbach Children's, a questionnaire on the influencing factors was made by ourselves; and 59 children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (an observation group) and 59 healthy subjects (a control group)were investigated by the questionnaire. Results The detection rate of behavioral problems was 40.68％ in the observation group, and was 20.34％ in the control group (P< 0.05). The rate of bad communication was 22.03％ in the observation group, and was 3.39％ in the control group (P < 0.05). The detection rate of anxiety and depression was higher in the observation group than in the control group (11.86％ vs. 1.69％, P < 0.05). Conclusions The incidence of behavior problems in children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes is higher than that in healthy people; and the behavior problems of these patients are caused by the interaction of many factors. Bad communication, anxiety, and depression are the main behaviors.关键词
