Abstract
Objective To discuss the relationship between serum platelet activation factor (PAF) and P selectin in patients with acute cerebral infarction and the stability of carotid atherosclerotic plaques. Methods From February to June 2018,95 patients in the department of neurology of the first affiliated hospital of Jiamusi University with acute precirculatory cerebral infarction were included in the experimental group. They were divided into non-plaque group (25 cases),stable plaque group (30 cases),and unstable plaque group (40 cases),which was based on the results of carotid color Doppler ul-trasound. The control group was 35 healthy persons who came to the hospital for physical examination. Carotid ultrasonogra-phy indicated that the thickness of carotid intima-media (IMT) was no more than 1. 0 mm. Serum PAF and P selectin con-centrations were measured by ELISA. Results In the experimental group,serum PAF,was significantly increased and pse-lectin was decreased in the control group (P<0. 05) and serum PAF and P selectin levels increased in unstable plaque group and decreased in stable plaque group (P<0. 01). Conclusion The level of serum PAF and P selectin is related to the formation and instability of carotid plaques. Serum PAF and P selectin may be the predictors of carotid plaque formation and instability.关键词
