β-catenin及ABCG-2在子宫肉瘤组织中的表达及其意义
Expression of β-catenin and ABCG-2 in the Sarcoma of Uterus and the Clinical Significances★

Abstract
Objective To compare the expressions of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2 protein in different types of uterine sarcoma, hys-teromyoma and normal myometrium, and investigate the role of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2 protein in the pathogenesis of uterine sarco-ma. Methods The expressions of β-catenin and ABCG-2 protein were detected in 90 cases of sarcoma of uterine by immunohistochemistry method, and were compared in different pathological types, malignant degrees and clinical stages of uterine sarcoma. The correlation of β-catenin expression with the ABCG-2 expression was also analyzed. Results The positive expression rates ofβ-catenin and ABCG-2 protein in the sarcoma of uterus were significantly higher than those in cellular uterine leiomyoma and normal uterine smooth muscle tis-sue (P<0.05). However, no significant differences were found between the leiomyoma of the uterus and normal uterine smooth muscle tis-sue (P>0.05). Yet there was no obvious difference in the β-catenin and ABCG-2 expression between leiomyoma of the uterus, endometrial stromal sarcoma and uterine carcinosarcoma (P>0.05). The positive expression rate of β-catenin and ABCG-2 protein in sarcoma of uterus at stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ were much higher than those at stage Ⅰ ~Ⅱ (P<0.05). Conclusion The expressions of β-catenin and ABCG-2 protein were upregulated in the sarcoma of uterus. Both may synergistically promote the occurrence and development of uterine sarcoma.关键词
