CXXC指蛋白5在前列腺癌组织中的表达及其与临床病理特征和预后的相关性分析
Expression of CXXC Finger Protein 5 in Prostate Cancer Tissues and Its Correlation with Clinicopathological Features and Prognosis

Abstract
Objective The expression of CXXC finger protein 5 in prostate cancer tissues and its correlation with clinicopathological features and prognosis of the cancer were examined to provide experimental basis for improving the diagnosis and treatment for prostate cancer. Methods 26 sam-ples of prostate cancer tissues and 26 samples of adjacent normal prostate tissue were collected from patients treated in our hospital from February 2014 to February 2015 and were retrospectively ana-lysed. The expression of CXXC5 in prostate cancer tissues and normal prostate tissues were measured by immunohistochemistry ( IHC) , and the relationship between the expression of CXXC5 and clini-copathological features of the cancer were examined. The the factors that may influence the prognosis were analyzed by using Cox regression model. Results (1) IHC revealed that 21 samples of PCa tis-sues had high expression of CXXC5 in 26 cases, accounting for 80. 77 % , and the expression was significantly higher than those in adjacent normal prostate tissue (11. 54 % , P <0. 05 ) . (2 ) Follow-up study showed that the expression of CXXC5 in 26 cases of PCa tissue samples was inde-pendent of the age, tumor diameter of the patients ( P>0. 05), but is correlated with the differen-tiation, stages, Gleason score, bone metastasis of the cancer (P<0. 05) . (3) The survival of 26 PCa patients was 1~36 months, the median survival time was 18 months, postoperative 1 year survival rate was 80. 77 % (21/26) , the 3 year survival rate was 69. 23 % (18/26) . CXXC5 was highly expressed in 21 patients, with their 1-and 3-year survival rates after operation being 41. 3 % and 29. 8 % respectively. CXXC5 was lowly expressed in 5 patients, and their 1-and 3-year survival rates after operation were 74. 8 % and 66. 84 % respectively. There was statistically significant difference in the survival rate between the two groups (χ2 =12. 241, P<0. 001) . (4) Multiva-riate Cox regression showed that there existed a significant overall difference ( χ2 =56. 736, P <0. 001) between the two groups and late clinical stage (stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ) , bone metastasis, high differentiation and Gleason greater than 7 were independent risk factors of PCa patients ( P<0. 05) . Conclusion The patients with high expression of CXXC protein 5 tended to have more malignant tumor than their counterparts with low expression of CXXC protein 5. They have an relatively ad-vanced clinical stage, greater Gleason scores, high differentiation, low survival rate and poor prog-nosis, and are vulnerarble to metastasis.关键词
