Abstract
The operation of the traditional high-voltage direct-current(HVDC)transmission system requires a large number of reactive power compensation devices due to its semi-control characteristics. Accordingly,the emergence of voltage oscillations may lead to the degradation of power quality and system stability. The integration of synchronous condenser(SC)to provide the necessary reactive power for the system has been widely recognized. In this paper,the voltage stabilization control of an HVDC transmission system with the integration of an SC is investigated. Comparative studies are conducted for the HVDC system under small,medium and large disturbances with and without the integra?tion of an SC on the inverter side,and the compensation effect of SC integration on bus voltage is obtained. The HVDC transmission system with the integration of an SC is established on the simulation platform of PSCAD/EMTDC,and sim?ulation results verify the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.关键词
