摘要

Abstract

An online voltage stability monitoring method for a multi-boundary weak area is proposed in this paper. First, radial equivalent independent(REI)method is applied to convert the weak area into one fictitious bus equivalently based on buses on the boundary. Then,Kalman filter is applied to continuously calculate the Thevenin equivalent param?eters of the external system outside the weak area in real-time. Finally,voltage stability margin indices are proposed, which can online evaluate the voltage stability margin of the weak area in real time. Based on the simulation data of an actual provincial power grid using Power System Analysis Software Package(PSASP)and the measurement data of pha?sor measurement units(PMUs)in an actual fault scenario,the voltage stability margin in this area is calculated,and re?sults validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
