Research Progress on Application of Lactobacillus reuteri in Livestock Husbandry
摘要
Abstract
Lactobacillus reuteri is an obligately heterofermentative bacterial, which are pooled in the intestines of humans and animals. They have many beneficial functions such as inhibiting pathogens, improve the intesti-nal environment, regulating intestinal microbiota, reducing cholesterol in serum. Lactobacillus reuteri are wide-ly used in foods, medicines and feed additives. The paper mainly reviews the probiotic characteristics and appli-cation status of Lactobacillus reuteri in husbandry, and looks forward to the future development and prospects.
