Abstract
With the development of the internet and information technology, public participation in social and cultural activities has gradually penetrated into every aspect of people’s daily life. In recent years, citizen science movements are typical embodiment of participatory culture. The construction of participatory libraries has played a key role in promoting public participation in library management and services and improving the national scientific and cultural literacy. In recent years, the public science movement that has arisen abroad is a typical embodiment of public participation. This paper analyzes the current situation of public participation of library construction in China, introduces the practical experience of foreign public science movements, and summarizes the useful enlightenment according to the successful experience of foreign citizen science projects. This paper make a certain contribution to the improvement of the quality of the national science and culture, the promotion of public participation in library services and the function of public libraries.关键词
