摘要

Abstract

An Eulerian small-signal beam-wave interaction(BWI)theory model is developed to study the group delay distortion in a helix travelingwave tube(TWT).The small-signal solution for group delay distortion is obtained from the Eulerian model,in which the attenuation and space charge field are taken into account.The small-signal solution is validated by comparing withthe solution obtained froman in house 3D code based onLagrangian BWI nonlinear theory(BWIS code),which shows a great agreement.
