摘要

Abstract

The installation and maintenance of position sensor is difficult in the wind turbine pitch systems,so the sensorless control is a major trend,which can also reduce the system cost. Based on the traditional three-closed-loop (position/speed/current loop)pitch system,an improved model reference adaptive system(MRAS)sensorless technology was introduced,and the sliding mode variable structure was used to replace the traditional MRAS's PI regulation, which increased the stability and reliability of the system. The simulation results show that this scheme can accurately estimate the position and speed for the rotor of the permanent magnet motor,and realize the fast response and follow the pitch angle given by the main control system. The introduction of sensorless technology in the variable pitch system is completely feasible.
