摘要

Abstract

The recent application of MHD simulation method was introduced, such as the arc motion in multiparallel contact system, the influence of frequency on arc motion and the electrode erosion simulation. Then for the detection of arc fault in low voltage system, the complete algorithms were proposed based on the electrical characteristics, electro-magnetic radiation and arc sound characteristics. To meet the requirement of optimization design of arc quenching chamber, it is proposed that the performance of arc quenching chamber could be evaluated by measuring the voltage of splitter plates.
