Abstract
Cotton had been widely used due to its softness, breathability and wearing comfort properties, thus its flame retardant finishing was of great significance. The tearing strength of cotton fabric decrease obviously after the flame retardant finishing, which result in decrease of practicability. Fiber strength protector and softener could effectively improve the strength damage of flame retardant fabrics. Four additives, fiber strength protectors SVN-01, 6188 and softeners DM-3110 and T-618 with different structure, were added to the flame retardant finishing solution. All four additives could enhance the strength of cotton fabric, and had little effect on the flame retardant properties of cotton fabric except 6188.关键词
