Abstract
Generally, using fully coupled multichannel active noise control system is beneficial to noise reduction and quiet zone extension, but it is complex and costly. A practical method of decentralizing the control is more economic. In this method, many independent controllers with single input and single output operate simultaneously to replace a large centralized control system with multi-input and multi-output. However, the drawback of the decentralized control is the risk of global instability. The cluster active control system, a modified version of the decentralized system, consists of several independent multichannel sub-systems, which can improve the stability at a reasonable computation consuming. In this paper, the influence of the cluster control arrangement on the global stability of the control system is studied. By transforming the cluster’s iterative equations into the equivalent linear transfer function of the system, the influence of the geometrical arrangement of the secondary sources and error sensors on the zero-pole map of the control system is studied. Theoretical analysis and simulations are carried out and the conditions for ensuring the stability of the clusters system are obtained.关键词
