Abstract
Objective For cataract patients with diabetic fundus lesions treated with cataract surgery,to observe the improvement of visual acuity,leakage,and foveal thickness.Methods 80 cataract patients with diabetic fundus lesions (96 eyes) in our hospital from May 2017 to August 2018 were selected as the study group,80 cataract patients without diabetes (94 eyes) were selected as the control group.The patients in both groups were treated with phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.The visual acuity,visual function,and foveal thickness,and the postoperative leakage were evaluated before surgery,7 days and 2 months after surgery.Results The visual acuity of the naked eye at 7 days and 2 months after surgery was better than that before surgery,the visual acuity of the naked eye at 2 months after surgery was better than that at 7 days after surgery,with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).The rate of uncorrected visual acuity ≥4.4 of the study group at 7 days and 2 months after surgery were 58.33％ (56/96) and 80.21％ (77/96) respectively,lower than those of the control group [71.28％ (67/94) and 94.68％ (89/94)],with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).The incidence of infiltration of the study group was 18.75％ (18/96) at 7 days after surgery,higher than that of the control group [3.19％ (3/94)],with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).The foveal thickness of the study group at 7 days after surgery was (172.36± 18.09) μm,higher than that of the control group [(160.25± 17.28) μm],with statistically significant difference (P＜0.05).The scores of visual function of the study group at 7 days and 2 months after surgery were (34.25±3.71) points and (25.14±4.03) points respectively,higher than those of the control group [(29.15±3.92) points and (20.35±3.61) points],with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05).Conclusion After cataract surgery,visual acuity and visual function have significantly improved in both the cataract patients with diabetic fundus lesions and the cataract patients without diabetes.The degree of improvement in diabetic patients is poor,the incidence of postoperative leakage is high,and the foveal thickness after surgery is relatively high.关键词
