摘要

Abstract

The non-destructive testing method combining ellipse location with tomography imaging techniques is adopted to Lamb wave damage detection and imaging of thin plate structures.Compared with the traditional single tomography technique,the combination of ellipse location and tomographic imaging techniques only require to select effective excitation-sense path for tomography in the range determined by the ellipse location,thereby the redundant paths are excluded.Thus the amount of data computing and processing can be reduced,which can improve the data utilization and detection efficiency.Besides,due to the method of determining the damage range via the ellipse positioning technique in advance,which avoids the appearance of large damage probability value at the intersection point of the additional excitation-sense path,the generation of detection error of damage is reduced effectively.The appropriate Lamb wave excitation frequency and excitation mode are selected in the simulations based on the finite element analysis software Abaqus,an advisable sensor network is arranged,and then the damage can be imaged and detected with the combination of elliptical positioning technique and reconstruction algorithm for probabilistic inspection of damage(RAPID).This testing method effectively improves the detection efficiency and the imaging quality of the damage,meanwhile the saving rates of detection path and imaging time are more than 47.6% and 40.7%,respectively.
