Two-stage Optimal Dispatching for Wind Power-electric Boiler-thermal Power Plant with the Regulation of Thermal Load

Abstract
The electric output of a heating unit is limited by heating load,thus its optimal output cannot be adjusted ac?cording to the real-time electricity price. In consideration of the capability of human body to adapt to temperature,in?door temperature is allowed to change in a certain range. In this paper,heating load is suggested as an adjustable load and applied to the optimal dispatching for a thermal power plant competing in the electric power market. Then,a day-ahead real-time two-stage optimal dispatching method,which takes the regulation of thermal load into account,is estab?lished. The wind power station,electric boilers,and the thermal power plant are combined to form a wind power-elec?tric boiler-thermal power plant:by reasonably adjusting the wind/electricity heat supply ratio in the day-ahead regula?tion,the optimal day-ahead declared output will be submitted to upper-level power grid;by making full use of the ad?justable thermal load in the real-time dispatching,the largest benefits in the auxiliary balance market can be obtained for the combined power plant. Simulation results show that the proposed dispatching method can increase the actual ben?efits of the wind power-electric boiler-thermal power plant and reduce coal consumption as well as carbon emission;it can effectively improve the utilization rate of energy,mitigate the greenhouse effect,and reduce the occurrence of smog during the heating season,which has significant economic and social values.关键词
