Humanistic care education in improvement of caring ability of nurses at operation room

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of humanistic care education in the improvement of the ability of nurses at operatiion room.Methods From May 1 to October 31,2018,15 nurses at the operation room of our hospital were given humanistic education according to the humanistic quality training mode to improve their humanistic care ability.Before and after the education,Caring Ability Inventory (CAI) was applied to evaluate their cognition,courage and patience,respectively.The changes in caring ability before and after humanistic education were compared.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for comparison and analysis.Results The nurses' understanding,courage,patience,and total scores in the operating room were (72.27±3.41),(62.67±2.85),(53.13±5.04),and (188.07±8.92) before the education,and were (87.07±3.63),(79.60±3.29),(66.33±1.54),after (233.00±5.28),with statistical differences (P < 0.01).Conclusions Humanistic care education can improve operation room nurses' caring ability,service consciousness,and sense of responsibility.Applying humanistic care in the nursing care for surgical patients gives them comfortable experience,and can promote the establishment of good nurse-patient relation,and ensure successful operation.关键词
