摘要

Abstract

Objective To evaluate and compare the quality of Cinnamomi cassia in Pingnan, Wuzhou, Fangcheng, Cengxi and Yulin in Guangxi province, and lay the foundation for the quality analysis and standardization control. Methods UPLC-DAD method was established to determine the content of cinnamic acid with Agilent Proshell 120 EC-C18 column (100 mm × 4. 6 mm, 2. 7 μm, Agilent Corporation, USA). Acetonitrile (A) and 1 mmol/L ammonium acetate buffer solution (B) were used as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 0. 5 ml/min. The detection wavelength was 276 nm, the column temperature was 30 ℃ and the injection volume was 5 μl. The contents of thin layer chromatogram (TLC), water, ash, volatile oil, and cinnamaldehyde were determined according to the methods in the Chinese Pharmacopeia (2015 edition) volume Ⅰ. Meanwhile, the determination results were used for cluster analysis. Results All15 batches of Cinnamomi cassia conformed to the requirement of Chinese Pharmacopeia, spots of cinnamaldehyde were clear and consistent in thin layer chromatography, and the contents of water, ash, volatile oil, cinnamaldehyde and cinnamic acid varied in range of10. 4%-12. 2%, 2. 21%-4. 81%, 2. 20-3. 90 ml/g, 23. 19-45. 11 mg/g, 1. 62-2. 81 mg/g, respectively. The contents of volatile oil, cinnamaldehyde and cinnamic acid in Pingnan area were higher than those in other areas. Based on the cluster analysis of water, ash, volatile oil and cinnamaldehyde contents, the samples were clustered into two categories: samples from Pingnan, Wuzhou, Fangcheng were clustered into one class, and the other samples from Yulin were clustered into the other class. Conclusion The quality of medicinal materials in Pingnan, Guangxi is the best, which is recommended to be planted on a large scale as a local medicinal material production area.
