摘要

Abstract

Verticillium wilt is a soil-borne fungal disease caused by Verticillium dahliae, which has strong pathogenicity and superior adaptability to the host, which seriously affects the sustainable development of cotton production in China.Biological control has unique advantages in controlling soil-borne diseases, which not only can reduce the occurrence of diseases, but also be environmentally safe and pollution-free.In this paper, the research progress of the prevention and control of verticillium wilt from plant extracts, antibiotics, cell wall degrading enzymes, antagonistic microorganisms (fungi, bacteria, actinomycetes), etc was discussed.At the same time, existing problems of the biological control of cotton verticillium wilt were pointed out.And future development trends were prospected in order to provide reference for the prevention and control of cotton verticillium.
