摘要

Abstract

[Objective] To describe the breeding process, main characters and application prospect of new rice variety Xinkedao 31.[Method]A new rice variety with good quality, high yield, disease resistance and wide application was bred by adopting sexual hybridization, gene isolation and recombination of favorable genes and identifying rice blast resistance breeding technology at seedling stage. The female parent was Zhengdao 18 and the male parent was the self-bred super rice variety xindao 18. [Result]The variety was approved by the National Crop Variety Validation Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture in June 2017, and is suitable for planting in the areas along the Yellow River and Xinyang in Henan Province, southern Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, Anhui Province along the Huaihe River and Huaibei areas. [Conclusion]The breeding of this variety has realized the simultaneous improvement of high yield, good quality and disease resistance of rice, and the variety renewal. It has the broad popularizing application prospect.
