Quality Analysis of Oriental Beauty Tea Made of Four Tea Cultivars

Abstract
In this experiment, the shoots selected from four oolong tea cultivars including Qingxin-damao (Camellia sinensis) , Qingxin-wulong (Camellia sinensis) , Tie-guanyin (Camellia sinensis) and Huangdan (Camellia sinensis) were used to manufacture oriental beauty teas.Quality analysis of the teas that made from different seasons and from the selected shoots not sucked by small green leafhopper were conducted.The results showed, Oolong tea cultivars such as Tie-guanyin and Huangdan are suitable for processing oriental beauty tea since the teas obviously have floral and fruity notes.However, Qingxin-damao, Qingxin-wulong are still gain the higher tea quality because of the thicker, more soft and brittle leaves and the greater or more hair buds.It is impossible to produce the characteristic oriental beauty while the leaves are not sucked by small green leafhopper.In the middle or low altitude areas, the oriental beauty with higher quality is made in summer (Grain in Ear-Summer solstice) .关键词
