Nutritional Characteristics of Four Animal Protein Feeds and Their Application in Livestock and Poultry Breeding

Abstract
Animal protein feed is an important part of animal diets, which including the earthworm, fly maggots, Tenebrio molitor and black soldier fly, et al.These animals and their extractions can be used as animal protein raw materials or additives in livestock and poultry breeding, and have great potential for development.The use of animal protein feed ingredients in livestock and poultry farming can reduce costs, improve the quality of animal products, alleviate the contradiction of animal protein feed shortage and achieve resource recycle of waste in a certain extent.This article reviewed the biological and nutritional characteristics of four animal protein feeds and their applications during the raising of livestock and poultry.Combined with the advantages and bottlenecks of animal protein feeds, this article describes the application methods and approaches of animal protein feeds in livestock and poultry production, and which will provide references for further researches and applications in animal protein feeds.关键词
