摘要

Abstract

A thermal model for uneven distribution of thyristor dissipated power density was established according to the turn-on process of thyristor.This paper focuses on the thyristor turn-on speed and accurate acquisition of the thyristor power consumption in the simulation.Through the experimental measurement of the slope resistance during the thyristor turn-on process, the full turn-on time of the thyristor is obtained, by which the turn-on speed of the thyristor is obtained.Based on the obtained change law of slope resistance, the thyristor in the turn-on process is equivalent to a time-varying resistance.The voltage and the power consumption of the thyristor is obtained based on the known current.The calculation results show that the highest temperature of the thyristor is concentrated in the first open area.The current limit of the thyristor is obtained through experiments.And the calculation results show that the maximum temperature rise of the thyristor under this current condition exceeds 300 K, which causes the overheat breakdown of the thyristor.This paper provides the basis for the thyristor device selection under narrow pulse and high current conditions and the redundancy accessment.
