Abstract
Arc ablation has become one of the key factors affecting the service life of electrode materials.Based on the self-made arc ablation test platform, the arc ablation experiments under different polarities were carried out by pairing carbon materials with copper materials.The interaction process and mechanism of electrode materials and arcs during the arc-breaking process were studied.The arc ablation characteristics at different current and polarity of electrode materials were analyzed.The results show that the ablation degree of the carbon electrode as the anode is larger than that of the copper electrode.Under both polar conditions, the anode is more ablated than the cathode, and the material is transferred from the anode to the cathode.关键词
