摘要

Abstract

The anti-erosion ability of contacts is an important factor that affects the electrical lifespan of high-voltage DC relays.Both the surrounding atmosphere and the contact material have an influence on this ability.Therefore, an experiment with CuW50, CuW60, AgW60 and Cu contacts was conducted under condition of 200~500 VDC/40~150 A and in 6 kinds of ambient gases such as N2 and CO2 etc.It can be concluded that:① The erosion of the contacts in different atmospheres is obviously different, and among all gases O2 led to the severest erosion and material transfer generally;② In most atmospheres, contacts mainly show a mass loss on the anode and a mass gain on the cathode;③ The erosion of AgW60 is the most of all materials.
