Abstract
International oil companies have involved in such new energy fields as wind energy, solar energy, geothermal energy, and biofuels since the 1990 s, and have made good achievements. However, the investment in new energy fi elds has gone up and down. After the Paris Agreement was signed, the investment in new energy fi elds by international oil companies has undergone new changes. While keeping oil and gas business as their core position, international oil companies should increase their investment in new energy business, follow the principle of adjusting measures to local conditions, use the venture capital department to develop new business, pay attention to win-win cooperation, and invest in start-ups to obtain leading technologies. All these have become an important strategic way for international oil companies to expand new energy business, which is reference for domestic oil companies.关键词
