Detection algorithm based on outdoor visible light communication system

Abstract
Aiming at the problems of blind likelihood detection algorithm in traditional outdoor visible light communication system, this paper proposes an improved blind likelihood detection algorithm. By setting the pulse position modulation (PPM) header at the transmitting end, the receiving end detects the packet and constrains the search by frame. The system error performance of fixed threshold detection, mean detection, traditional blind likelihood detection and improved blind likelihood detection algorithm in real outdoor environment is analyzed and compared. The simulation results show that the algorithm effectively solves the plate problem and reduces the complexity. When the turbulence intensity, background light intensity, transmission distance and luminous intensity change, the improved blind likelihood algorithm is more accurate than other detection algorithms, and is more suitable for outdoor visible light communication.关键词
