摘要

Abstract

In a fiber channel (FC) protocol environment, the FC port (FC_Port) is the basic communication unit, for that the link can send and receive FC data frames only when the port is in the active state. Based on the analysis of the FC_Port state transition principle and referred to FC-FS-4 protocol, a design method of FC_Port state machine based on FPGA is proposed. Experiments show that the design meets the requirements of the protocol and has the functions of link error detection and port traffic management as well as recovering the link faults encountered by the FC port during data transmission.
