Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of voglibose combined with metformin on the serum Ghrelin and retinol binding protein 4(RBP4)levels in youth patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods:A total of 82 youth patients with type 2diabetes were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 41 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were treated with metformin,and those in the study group were treated with voglibose combined with metformin.The incidence of adverse reaction,fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPG)and serum levels of Ghrelin and RBP4were compared between the two groups.Results:The HbA1c,FBG and 2 h PG were significantly improved in the study group compared with the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The serum level of Ghrelin in the study group was higher than that in the control group,while the serum RBP4 level was significantly lower(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion:Voglibose combined with metformin could markedly improve blood glucose level and the serum levels of Ghrelin and RBP4in youth patients with type 2 diabetes,and was safe.关键词
