摘要

Abstract

By adding low levels of Salmonella typhimurium and interfering bacteria (Citrobacter freundii and Proteus mirabilis) to samples of chicken essence powder, the different plate performances were compared. The comparisons were among 3 different types of selective enrichment broths, 4 different culture periods and 4 selective plates. Methods based on the testing standard of GB4789.4-2016 and microbiological examination of nonsterile products: Tests for Specified Microorganisms. As a result, the particular culturing procedure with distinct advantage was obtained as follows: started with pre-culture in RV (Rappaport Vassiliadis Salmonella Enrichment Broth) or TTB (Tetrathionate Broth Base enrichments) for 18 h ~ 20 h, then followed by a selective plate culturing of Salmonella Chromogenic Medium or BS (Bismuth Sulfite Agar).
