Historical Evolution of Water Transport Function in the Xinxiang Section of the Weihe River
摘要
Abstract
The Xinxiang Section of the Weihe River was formed in the Spring and Autumn Period. Historically, there have been two major changes in the water transport function of the Xinxiang Section of the Weihe River: Weihe was a direct waterway for official grain and cargo transportation from the Sui and Tang Dynasties to the Song and Jin Dynasties. The opening of the Beijing-Hangzhou Direct Canal at the end of the Yuan Dynasty prompted the function of the Xinxiang Section of the Weihe River to shift to the auxiliary transportation of grain. After the Qing Dynasty, with the rise of the railway transportation industry, the function of the Xinxiang Section of the Weihe River was more manifested in the distribution of commodities and goods.关键词
