Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of balloon-expandable kyphoplasty for elderly patients with osteoporotic spinal compression fractures. Methods Eighty elderly patients with osteoporotic spinal fractures treated in our hospital from January2017 to January 2018 were selected as study subjects.According to the order of admission, patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method. In the control group, patients underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty.Patients in the observation group underwent balloon dilatation and kyphoplasty. The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients was compared. Results The height of the leading edge, the height of the middle margin, the Cobb angle and other indicators of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05).After surgery, the VAS of both groups was significantly reduced, and the VAS score after treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05);the incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 5.00%, which was significantly lower. The incidence of adverse events in the control group was 15.00%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of balloon kyphoplasty for kyphoplasty in elderly patients with osteoporotic spinal compression fracture is satisfactory. It can effectively restore the height of compressed vertebral body, and can effectively relieve postoperative pain, and the incidence of postoperative adverse events is low.Safe and effective.关键词
