摘要

Abstract

The effect of electron beam welding energy on the mechanical properties of TC4 titanium alloy welds was studied,which provided a theoretical basis for the designer and technologist to determine the repair welding times. The results show that with the increase of the time of electron beam welding, the welding energy input and the residual tensile stress of welding increase gradually,which leads to the decrease of the tensile properties and the fracture elongation for the weld. When the number of welding time is up to 6,the tensile strength is 927 MPa and lower than 90% of the base metal strength,which cannot meet the GJB1718A - 2005I grade standard requirements. When the number of welding time is up to 4,the fracture elongation of weld is less than 10%. As a result,the welding time shall not exceed 3 times in order to meet the first - level welding standard.
