Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Frigid Extremities Decoction Combined with Two Matured Substances Decoction plus Herba Ephedrae and Radix et Rhizoma Asari in combination with glucocorticoid on chronic asthmatic bronchitis.Methods:A total of 150 patients with chronic asthmatic bronchitis were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 75 cases in each group.The control group was treated with glucocorticoid, while the observation group was treated with Frigid Extremities Decoction Combined with Two Matured Substances Decoction plus Herba Ephedrae and Radix et Rhizoma Asari on the basis of the control group.Then the clinical efficacies of the two groups were observed, and the changes of TCM syndrome score and lung functions including forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), peak expiratory flow (PEF) and FEV1/forced vital capacity (FVC) were compared before and after the treatment.Results:The effective rate was 92.00％ in the observation group and 80.00％ in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The scores of asthma, wheezing and chest tightness in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and all the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After the treatment, FEV1, FEV1/FVC and PEF of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and all the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).However, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Frigid Extremities Decoction Combined with Two Matured Substances Decoction plus Herba Ephedrae and Radix et Rhizoma Asari in combination with glucocorticoid has a remarkable efficacy on chronic asthmatic bronchitis, can improve clinical efficacy, symptoms and lung functions.关键词
