摘要

Abstract

The current development plans and research of the space-based imaging altimeter on the mesoscale compared with the traditional altimeter are analyzed.The spatial-temporal resolution, observing width, orbit selection, frequency selection, auxiliary load design and measurement accuracy are systematically analyzed.Based on the experiences of the early space-based imaging altimeter systems the suggestions about the error budget which effects on the SSH accuracy, establishment of system parameter are proposed for the future satellite systems of imaging altimeter design.
