摘要

Abstract

The fibre channel protocol is developing rapidly,and its supported data transmission rate update period is short, doubling every three or four years. Also,the system needs different data transmission rates in different application scenarios,so the transmission rate of fibre channel products on the market varies. For the problem that the fibre channel devices with different trans?mission rates cannot communicate with each other,based on the analysis of the fibre channel rate adaptive function principle,this paper proposes an FPGA-based speed negotiation design method verified by simulation with the reference to the FC-FS-4 protocol. The design method has certain versatility and can be extended to general fibre channel devices to enable communication between de?vices at different rates.
