Research on the Relationship Between Industrial Policy and Market Performance——Case of China's Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

Abstract
The acceleration of economic globalization and the intensification of international competition lead to a serious focus on the positive effect of industry policies on industry development, especially for the emerging industries. China as a country with the most electric vehicles production and sales in the world, the market performance and industrial policies are of crucial importance for developing the charging infrastructure industry.Firstly, this paper sorted the 2009—2017 industrial policies as strategic planning, standards and regulations and subsidies for further analysis, and described the overall development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China and the market performance of top ten cities. On this basis, the paper built up an analysis framework for market performance and industry policies.Then, by using the data of patent, industry chain stakeholders and business model characteristics, the paper analyzed the relationship of market performance and industrial policies from technological innovation, the number, types and modes of operation of commercial operators.The research shows that the industrial policy has an important impact on market performance, with a more obvious influence on R&D of technology patent and technology standards, industry chain participants and business mode improvement and innovation.With further improvement and implementation of the industrial policy in the future, China 's electric vehicle charging infrastructure industry will get better and faster development, so as to support the sustainable development of the electric vehicle industry.关键词
