摘要
Abstract
Objective To detect the expression of PPARγ and PGC-1 of the evolution of gastric adenocarcinoma in different stages, and to explore the role of PPARγ and PGC-1 in the development of gastric cancer and its clinicopathological significance. Methods From January 2011 to September 2016, 135 gastric adenocarcinoma tissue specimens, 52 normal gastric mucosa tissue specimens, 19 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis, 31 cases of intestinal metaplasia and 16 cases of atypical hyperplasia were collected from the Second People' s Hospital of Jingzhou City. The expression of PPARγ and PGC-1 was examined by immunohistochemical method. The difference of positive expression of PPARγ and PGC-1 in normal gastric mucosa, precancerous lesions and gastric adenocarcinoma were analyzed, and the correlation between the expression of PPARγ and PGC-1 and the pathological characteristics of gastric cancer were analyzed. Results The positive expression rates of PPARγ and PGC-1 in the gastric cancer tissues were lower than those in the precancerous lesion tissues and the normal gastric mucosa tissues, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In 135 cases of gastric adenocarcinoma, the expression of PPARγ was positively correlated with PGC-1 expression (r=0.956, P<0.05). The expression levels of PPARγ and PGC-1 were decreased with the lower ranked differentiation of gastric cancer (P<0.05). The expression levels of PPARγ and PGC-1 were closely associated with the Borrmann type, Lauren classification, the histological differentiation and TNM tumor stage (P<0.05). However, there was no significant association between the expression of PPARγ and PGC-1 and the gender, age and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05). Conclusion The expression levels of PPAR and PGC-1 are closely related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. Monitoring the expression levels of PPARγ and PGC-1 may be helpful to predict the development and progression of gastric cancer.关键词
