Effect of community rehabilitation of schizophrenia on rural patients

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of community-based rehabilitation for schizophrenia on schizophrenics in rural communities.Methods:A total of 442 schizophrenic patients living in rural communities were randomly selected and randomly divided into intervention group and control group.The intervention group was trained in community-based rehabilitation of schizophrenia, and 433 patients completed the study.After 12 months of observation, the two groups were evaluated every 3months with a homemade general condition questionnaire, medication adherence questionnaire, positive and negative symptom scales (PANSS) and social function screening rating scale (SDSS).Results:The medication adherence between the two groups had statistical significance in terms of time factor and the interaction of time and group, with F values of 36.376 and 10.079, respectively, with P values less than 0.001.At different time points, the F values were 0.601, 0.040, 0.349, 7.510, 9.236 respectively, the P values were 0.438, 0.841, 0.555, 0.006, 0.003 respectively.The PANSS score was significantly different in time, time and group, F were 218.08 and 28.677, respectively, P<0.001.At different time points, F values were 0.055, 0.03, 0.916, 7.718, 11.847 respectively, P values were 0.814, 0.863, 0.339, 0.006, 0.001respectively.The social function of the two groups had statistics significance on the time and the interaction between, time and group, F=201.616, 44.381, P<0.001.At different time points, the F values were 0.418, 0.184, 6.443, 18.243, 34.162, P values were 0.518, 0.668, 0.011, <0.001, <0.001.Conclusion:The community-based rehabilitation of schizophrenia has the effect of improving medication compliance and alleviating symptoms and improving social function in patients with schizophrenia in rural communities.关键词
