Family cohesion and adaptability in patients with traumatic spinal cord injury

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the status and influencing factors of family cohesion and adaptability in patients with traumatic spinal cord injury.Methods:A total of 186 patients with spinal cord injury were investigated using the Chinese version of the General Information Questionnaire and Family Cohesion and Fitness Scale.Results:The actual family intimacy score in patients with spinal cord injury was higher than the national norm (t=4.74, P<0.001).The actual fitness score was lower than the domestic norm (t=-4.472, P<0.001).Regression analysis showed that the main influencing factors of actual family cohesion were marital status and complications (R2=0.254, F=75.930, P<0.000).The main influencing factors of actual family adaptability were education level and family income (R2=0.313, F=13.054, P<0.000).Conclusion:The clinical nurse should provide targeted support and intervention according to the characteristic of family intimacy and adaptability of patients with spinal injury and play a role in the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury.关键词
