Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of modified electroconvuisive therapy combined with paroxetine in the treatment of depression patients with attempted suicide.Methods:A total of 142depression patients with attempted suicide treated in our hospital from February 2015to January 2017were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment methods, with 71cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with paroxetine only, while patients in the observation group was treated with modified electroconvulsive therapy combined with paroxetine, tid for 4weeks.The depression (HAMD) and the changes of suicidal ideation (Beck scores) were compared between the two groups before treatment, after 1, 2, 3, and 4weeks of treatment.Then the clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were compared.Results: (1) The Beck scores of the two groups after 1week to 4weeks of treatment were smaller than those before treatment, and the difference were obtained by repeated measures of variance (F=99.07, 174.28;P＜0.001) ;The decline degree in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (t=6.891, 5.795, 3.514, 7.513;P＜0.001) ; (2) The HAMD scores of two groups after 1week to 4weeks of treatment were smaller than those before treatment, and the difference were obtained by repeated measures of variance (F=188.59, 211.22;P＜0.001) ;The decline degree in the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (t=3.560, 3.048, 10.663, 15.073;P＜0.001) ; (3) The clinical curative effect in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (χ2=4.149, P＜0.05) ; (4) The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 21.13％, and that in the control group was 18.31％, The difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:Modified electroconvuisive therapy combined with paroxetine is an effective and safe way in the treatment of depression patients with attempted suicide, which is worthy of recommendation.关键词
