Abstract

Objective:To study the mediating role of positive psychological quality in the influence of teacherstudent relationship on the sense of professional accomplishment of rural primary and secondary school teachers, 472serving primary and secondary school teachers from 19primary and secondary schools in rural areas of Guangdong Province were selected.Methods:An empirical survey was conducted using teacher-student relationship teacher rating scales, positive psychological quality questionnaires, and job satisfaction scales.Results: (1) The teacher-student relationship, positive psychological quality and professional achievement sense of rural primary and secondary school teachers were significantly related to each other; (2) The teacher-student relationship and intimacy dimension of rural primary and secondary school teachers could significantly positively predict professional achievement (t=6.370, 9.320;P<0.001) ;Positive psychological quality of rural primary and secondary school teachers had a significantly positive predictive effect on career achievement (t=7.898, P<0.001) ;Conclusion:Positive psychological quality has played an intermediary role in the relationship between teacher-student relationship and the professional sense of accomplishment in rural primary and middle school teachers.
