摘要

Abstract

Objective:To understand the status of mobile phone addiction and academic burnout among medical undergraduates, and to explore the mediating role of self-control between the two.Methods:Mobile Phone Addiction Index, Self-Control Scale and Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey were used among 239 medical undergraduates.Results:Cell phone addiction and self-control were significantly positively correlated with academic burnout (r=0.348, 0.614;P<0.01) .Cell phone addiction and self-control had a significant predictive effect on academic burnout (beta=0.335, 0.704;P<0.001) .Self-control played a complete intermediary role in mobile phone addiction and learning burnout.Compared with low self-control individuals, high self-control individuals were less affected by mobile phone addiction and suffered from academic burnout.Conclusion:Cell phone addiction can influence academic burnout by reducing self-control ability.High self-control individuals can avoid learning burnout caused by cell phone addiction.
