Design and Implementation of A Mobile Device User Interface Description Language

Abstract
In order to adapt to the current mobile device user interface usability and reusability requirements and colve the insufficency that the mobile device User Interface Description Language (UIDL) does not consider the inherent properties of the mobile device and does not support the large-grained mode components, this paper designs a mobile device user interface description language based on eXtensible Markup Language (XML) which is called PXMUL, and gives an implementation framework of mobile user interface based on pattern component.The attributes needed to describe the interface are defined from three modules of interface layout, logic and environment, and the design and development of user interface are realized on the basis of large-grained components.Example evaluation results show that PXMUL can reduce the learning cost and shorten the development cycle while ensuring the feasibility and effectiveness of interface implementation.关键词
