摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the value of carotid ultrasound in the screening of carotid artery stenosis and high-risk stroke patients. Methods A total of 300 patients who underwent carotid artery ultrasound examination in our hospital from October 2016 to October 2017 were selected as the study subjects. According to age, they were divided into <60 years old group and ≥ 60 years old group. Carotid stenosis was observed in all patients and the risk factors of carotid stenosis were analyzed. Results The proportion of smoking, hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes mellitus and lower extremity artery disease in patients ≥ 60 years old was higher than that in patients < 60 years old (P < 0.05). Among 301 patients with hypertension and other diseases, carotid artery stenosis accounted for 11.3% between 50.0% and 70.0%, carotid artery stenosis ( ≥ 70.0%) accounted for 6.3%, and severe carotid artery stenosis accounted for a higher proportion in patients with lower extremity artery disease (14.8%) and coronary heart disease (9.6%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age ( ≥ 60 years old), coronary heart disease and lower extremity artery disease were risk factors for carotid artery stenosis. Conclusion Carotid ultrasonography can accurately detect carotid stenosis in patients with stroke, and it is of great significance to effectively prevent the first-level prevention of stroke in high-risk groups. Carotid ultrasonography should be carried out regularly for people aged over 60 years, with coronary heart disease and lower extremity artery disease, in order to prevent the risk from aggravating.关键词
