Abstract
Objective To study the levels of serum Pentraxin-3 (PTX-3) and tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens CA724 and CA199 in the patients with gastric cancer, benign gastric lesions and normal people, and to explore the clinical application value of their expressions in the diagnosis of gastric cancer.MethodsThe levels of tumor-associated carbohydrate antigens CA724 and CA199 in 80 patients with gastric cancer, 80 patients with benign gastric lesions and 40 normal controls were detected by adopting the electrochemiluminescence. The level of serum PTX-3 in all patients was detected by adopting the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) .Then the correlation between the levels of various indexes and clinicopathological parameters in the patients with gastric cancer was analyzed.Meanwhile the values of combined detection among 3 indexes for diagnosing gastric cancer were compared. Results The levels of serum CA724, CA199 and PTX-3 in the gastric cancer group were significantly higher than those in the benign gastric lesions (P<0.05) and healthy control group (P<0.01) .The levels of serum CA724, CA199 and PTX-3 had the close correlation with the TNM stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05) .In the single detection of serum CA724, CA199 and PTX-3, the sensitivity was lower, while the specificity was higher. In the combined detection of multiple serum indicators, the combined detection of CA724+CA199+PTX-3 was the best for the diagnosis of gastric cancer. The sensitivity was 95.00%, the specificity was 79.17%, the accuracy was 93.00%, and YI was 0.77.Conclusion The levels of serum CA724, CA199 and PTX-3 in the patients with gastric cancer are significantly increased, which may be involved in the occurrence and development of gastric cancer. The combined detection of these three indicators can improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis of gastric cancer, and has an important clinical application value.关键词
